GULF1589 - Management Analyst

Vacancy Information:

We are looking for a dynamic motivated individual to join our Administration Division as Management Analyst.

Main Objectives:

To formulate new/better systems and business processes and provide company-wide support on administrative, operational and resource control problems and perform job analysis and job evaluation exercises to establish job grades.

To update the amendments in the manpower budget through the OSARA process and provide analytical inputs during the annual budgeting process.

Main Duties:
  1. Perform manpower and organization studies with the main objective of establishing optimum manning levels and elimination of overlapping and duplication of functions.
  2. Redesign of business processes and systems and establish control procedures that will ensure optimum utilization of company resources such as: materials, equipment, manpower, office facilities, etc.
  3. Write, update or revise job descriptions for all positions in the company to be relevant with each department's goals, objectives and according to the company approved organization manual.
  4. Conduct job analysis and establish job grades through proper job evaluation.
  5. Investigate and validate all requests for changes in organization, manpower, job grades and job titles and make the appropriate recommendations on the ideal organization structure and the optimum manpower level required.
  6. Update and maintain the organization manual to include approved organization charts, job analysis reports, written job descriptions, job evaluation results and benchmark positions.
  7. Validate and ensure optimum utilization of available resources by designing effective shift rosters and work schedules of company employees.
  8. Improve customer service areas by establishing the optimum number of servers and workstations required by using quantitative techniques such as queuing model theories and computer simulation models.
  9. Conduct various project feasibility studies on facility/service locations, layouts and set-ups for the optimum usage of resources/facilities.
  10. Develop and implement job title convention and job codes (Position Control System) to standardize job codes and job titles.
  11. Compile the standard cost for various positions across the network to enable costing and budgeting exercise.
  12. Participate in the annual budgeting process for the assigned division.
  13. Update the system for various manpower budget amendments through the OSARA procedure.
  14. Prepare presentation for various management reviews and undertake special projects as may be required by management.
  15. Participate in meetings/conferences, presentations/seminars to keep abreast on industry updates or available technology.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. A university degree preferably in Industrial Engineering or Business Management. The jobholder must have an analytical mind and be able to communicate concisely in written and spoken English.
  2. Minimum 7 years of experience in Industrial Engineering work related environment:
  • Manpower audit and work studies

  • Development of cost control systems

    3.   The jobholder should have adequate background in major airline business processes and a working knowledge of MS Office and/or similar software.
